Charles William Matthews (c.1852 - 17 December 1930) was local politician in the St Pancras area. A member of St Pancras Borough Council, he was Mayor of St Pancras in 1916 - 1917. Also a member of the London County Council, he was a Municipal Reform Party councillor representing St Pancras South West from 1919-28 when he became a county alderman. He died, aged 78, while on a visit to Kingston, Jamaica.
