On June 3, 2014, Luis TV planned on making a spin-off of SpongeToons. But due to the big success, Deep Down Low was put on the side until next year. However, on June 10, Flyer Studios asked Luis TV if they could acquire the idea of the show. Luis TV accepted and production began on June 11. However, in July 2014 production became stagnant and went on hiatus indefinitely. The last time TheITChap returned was back in 2015 for about two days and again in 2016 for a day. However, he has not come back to update the series up to this date.
