The Battle of Orion VII began when Clark-loyal forces ambushed a meeting of Earth Alliance Resistance personnel shortly after the Earth Alliance Civil War began. During the battle, the EAS Clarkstown hit the EAS Alexander amidships, killing General Hague. His second, Major Ryan took command of the ship. The Alexander first attempted to flee without returning fire, but when the Clarkstown persisted, the Alexander opened up with her rear guns, destroying the Clarkstown in one shot. After the battle, Major Ryan ordered the ship to jump to Babylon 5 for repairs.
