- Korea is a select-able nation in Europa Universalis IV at the beginning in 1444. Its government type is a Despotic Monarchy.
- In real life, there is no such nation as Korea, instead there is communist North Korea and a capitalist South Korea, both of whom are technically at war with one another to this day. Its possible that in the Left Behind series, the two countries managed to resolve their quarrels to allow them to unite as one nation, a goal which both nations have yet to succeed on in real life, however this is purely conjecture.

- Korea is a country that was once occupied by Japan. After the country became independent, it split into 2. North Korea being influenced by the USSR. South Korea being influenced by the United States.
