The Blizzard Fansites Program was a program for fan sites officially recognized by Blizzard Entertainment, but it was discontinued as an open list at some point before the release of Wrath of the Lich King and not resurrected after the Battle.net merge until late April 2012. Blizzard still maintains relationships with fan sites, but apparently now mostly through back channels. There is no official list for US fansites yet. According to a blue post on February 2011, the Fan Site Program still exists, but is being re-vamped. US: fansites@blizzard.com EU: fansite-EN@blizzard.com

Theoretically, you could apply to be an official fansite by sending e-mail to one of the following e-mail addresses: US: fansites@blizzard.com EU: fansite-EN@blizzard.com Blizzard still features fan sites in their Explorers' League Journal (US) and Community News (EU) blogs on the official site, but it is a mystery how they decide who to feature.
