- Gaffs were a type of fishing tool.
- The gaff is one of sixteen bludgeon types used in rumbling. It can be purchased at shipyards. On subscription oceans, this bludgeon may be used by non-subscribers and does not include a delivery fee on doubloon oceans. This bludgeon is considered an alternate to bare fists. Its strike pattern is literally 1 ball different from the bare fists. However, since the gaff's sprinkle pattern contains more colors than the fist's sprinkle pattern, the gaff does much worse than the fists against people that can strike well.
- Gaff is an Elf that is assigned to keep Lillet Blan's room clean. Gaff loves to clean, and will accidently break something while cleaning on the occasion. Gaff is one of the first people Lillet meets after arriving at Siler Star Tower, and tells Lillet the story about the scary ghost that haunts the halls. He's a little self-centered, asking Lillet to call him "handsome" instead of "cute". At one point in the game, Lillet tells Gaff to sleep outside so he doesn't accidentally break Amoretta's Flask.
- Gaff was the chief buttonman and emissary in the Juárez Cartel's New Mexico territory, serving as the primary enforcer, hitman and right-hand man of Don Eladio Vuente. By the time of his appearance, he was recently promoted by the Dons of the cartel, replacing Tuco Salamanca's role of informing the cartel about the activity across the border. Roughly counterpoint to Mike Ehrmantraut in the dust-up between Gustavo Fring and the cartel, he is both scary and savvy, demonstrating shocking efficiency and military-grade training. He appeared as a minor antagonist in Season 4.
- Known in full as Godawful Fanfiction, this message board is just what it sounds like. The GAFFers find the worst fanfiction out there—worse even than what we in the PPC normally see—and post short excerpts, mocking without mercy. While the PPC is Mary Sue heavy, GAFF tends toward the bad smutfics of any description. Some fics sporked on GAFF have been used in PPC missions, but not many. It can be found here. Various members have been affiliated with the PPC over the years.
