Liem (Liam) Amarin was one of the few wildcats working under Vilaya in The Quean and The Rhulain. One of the main antagonists in the series, he was the first to bring up Green Isle as a point of attack in private conversation with Rakefang. The first vessel he served on was the Golden Hide. Amarin was a member of a small band Vilaya kicked out for incompetence. He and his fellow soldiers decided to attack Green Isle to get back in their mistress' good graces. Amarin's personal goal was to avenge the deaths of Riggu Felis, Pitru and Jeefra, his younger brother and nephews.
