Eddy used it to perform tricks in order to impress the kids at the start of the episode. To help him with this, bike handles were taped to the bubble so that he could control it. Eddy was able to do so, pulling off a flawless performance, but everyone besides his friends missed the end, as they were distracted by Jimmy acquiring a new injury. Ed soon got his chance to ride it, but bounced so hard he popped it under his weight. For these reasons, the bubble was abandoned as Eddy led his friends away in an attempt to gain his audience back.
