In the lull, Booker can open the door to reveal a comfortably furnished side room. A lockpick sits on the side table with a bottle of Salts on the larger dining table with fresh flowers. However, the painting on the wall is pockmarked with bullet holes. The bedroom reveals a different story. Furniture is knocked about with blood smeared against the floors and walls. Two Vox Populi agents appear to have been brutally beaten and interrogated. Both sport bullet holes in their skulls. As indicated by the "P" written in blood and the Voxophone on the bed, this was Preston E. Downs' room. The message on the wall is left for Daisy Fitzroy in retaliation for the attempted Vox ambush in his sleep.
