The 1962 Richmond 250 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Richmond International Raceway on April 1, 1962. Rex White made his way to the lead just in time, leading the last eight laps before the race was called for darkness. White finished one lap ahead of Ned Jarrett when the race was called while eventual season champ Joe Weatherly finished 4th. Stats
