Jeruku Ropu was a poisonous evergreen. If ingested or inhaled as a gas (smoke) it caused quickening of the heartbeat. Common symptoms were sweating, irregular pulse, respiratory problems leading to quick paralysis and death. Many species of bees use Jeruku Ropu pollen to make honey, which could be made into a very tasty poison indeed.
