An Entity of Type : owl:Thing, within Data Space : 134.155.108.49:8890 associated with source dataset(s)

Ratling warlord is a type of monster in ADOM. The strongest and toughest of all ratlings, the warlords are nasty opponents that always punch through armor. Like ratlings of lower melee ranks they can disarm the PC, though they seem to do this quite infrequently compared to the fencers or duelists. Ratling warlords are usually found before the mid-game, though they are quite uncommon. Like other ratlings, they can sometimes be found in the High Mountain Village, hostile or not. Vaults of ratlings, which can be found in areas of moderate danger level, will contain one or more warlords.

Monster Memory
  • A seasoned veteran, and no mistake! He is taller than your average ratling, of heavy build and well-armored, a walking tank really. When you hear his thundering voice, you will readily believe that this is the mighty ruler of all ratlings. His eye-patch gives him a sinister outlook, and his ice-cold stare will give you the shivers . Ratling warlords of outstanding merit are sometimes chosen to be artifact guardians. If you meet one, you'd better be prepared.
