The Hadithi Kusema, or its literal translation, "myth speaker," were Jawas that would act as roving teachers and storytellers to educate the clans of their history. To become a Hadithi Kusema, a Jawa must be chosen from birth by another Hadithi Kusema and then must act as an apprentice of sorts for their new master. To be chosen was considered the highest honor among the followers of the Hadithi Kusema. The Hadithi Kusema were highly regarded in Jawa society and to harm one in any way was to put a death sentence upon one's head.
