All four have buildings or facilities named after them at MIT. PBE's official color is peacock blue. PBE was suspended for four years on September 21, 2010 for violating policies related to hazing. However, on March 4, 2011 a settlement between MIT and PBE was announced which included, among other elements, the restoration of PBE members' ability to reside in their house, PBE's membership in MIT's Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) and PBE's participation in Rush activities starting in 2012.
