| - Shōhei Kagerō (陽炎昌平, Kagerō Shōhei), the sole child of Akira Kagerō, a man known for his heroic acts as a Konohagakure shinobi. He is considered one of Konohagakure's heroes and veteran shinobi. His father is considered the prodigy of his clan as he raised through several ranks, reaching the captain commander of Konohagakure's military before dying on the battlefield. He was known for his tenacious will and unyielding strength. He passed these traits to his son Shōhei. During Shōhei's childhood, he seems to be influenced purely by his father. He lived his entire life overshadowed by Akira and it left it's marks on his personality. As no matter how important his achievements were, they fail to compare to his father's. Nonetheless, Shōhei acquired several traits from his father, his persona and undying will to protect the village. Alongside his keen intellect and sharp attitude. Growing in the shadow of such a strong shinobi, Shōhei gained so much knowledge and experience simply by observing his father and practicing with him. Since his days at the academy, he always took his father as a role-model and he would always chant things that were said by him. This was his motivation as a child, to surpass the high limits that his fathers set, yet he would always fail in comparison. Shōhei's friend and rival is Arata Kohaku (新琥珀, Kohaku Arata). A man who proved his loyalty to his friends and village over the years. They were always tangling in multiple fights in order to decide who's stronger. However, Shōhei seems to come on top most of the time. He never stopped his journey to surpass his old man, until the day that his father died. It was when Shōhei abandoned his goal of surpassing his father and started to adopt his principles. He was affected greatly by Akira as he saw him as the best shinobi in terms of skills and morales. As noted by many Jōnin who knew his father, Shōhei doesn't possess his father's skill, yet he has something more important. He possess his father's undying will and the fire that glimmer in his eyes once he hears "Konohagakure".
