Wizard Takes All is the unofficial name of the board game that the Game Master plays with various people he comes across in the cartoon show episode "The Grouchiest Game In Town". It is named from one of the rules in the game, that whatever piece is a wizard can take any of the opponent's pieces. It is loosely based on chess with rules that can be modified according to the Game Master's preference, though the "wizard takes all" rule remains consistent, and is played on a checkerboard with both blue and red pieces. The rule is to not let the Game Master take the opponent's wizard, which is the most important piece on the board, or else the loser can end up becoming a permanent game piece until somebody is able to defeat the Game Master.

In the episode, the Game Master comes across both Gargamel and the Smurfs, with Gargamel being captured by being defeated in the game and the Smurfs being captured either by the Game Master's desires or by being defeated. However, when the Game Master confronted Grouchy, he used the game's basic rule of "wizard takes all" against his opponent by using Papa Smurf, who was both a Smurf and a wizard, to remove all the Game Master's pieces from the board. In so doing, he freed all the people who were trapped as game pieces and sent them back to where they came from, while the Game Master was sent back home crying about losing a game.
