Synopsis
| - The members of the Justice League mount their assault on the Overmaster, battling through the Cadre on their way up Everest, perhaps losing comrades such as Gypsy and Metamorpho along the way, but unable to stop. , long powerless and held captive on the Overmaster's ship, regains some of her power and melts through her restraints. Eventually, the Leaguers encounter the leader of the Cadre, Ice, and Martian Manhunter is able to persuade her back to the cause of good. She, Fire and the other seven heroes who have made it to the top of the mountain attack. As they do so, Ice is cut down by the Overmaster, instantly dead.
