An odd thing is that, even when Catherine Viejo gave her home to her niece Cleo Shikibu, the household is the Wan household, not Shikibu household. And the house supposedly belongs to Cleo, not Patricia. And in one of the family pictures it shows that Patricia is hugging Catherine while Cleo just waves. Was Patricia meant to be Catherine's niece? Although the Wan household and the Caliente household do not resemble each other on the outside, they do have several similarities on the inside. This includes their comparable kitchens, dining rooms, lounges, and bedrooms.

Was Patricia meant to be Catherine's niece? Oddly, both girls have good memories of their parents' deaths. This is likely because the developers added their memories manually with a third party program, and didn't change the memories from good to bad. This happens with all pre-made playable Sims in Riverblossom Hills. Patricia and Cleo are likely based off the Caliente sisters Nina and Dina Caliente respectively. Both they and the Caliente sisters are roommates, and are female. While Patricia and Nina both have active romances at the start of the game, Cleo, unlike Dina does not start off with any romantic relationships. The Maxis story-line does point her towards becoming romantically involved with Leod McGreggor, but whether Cleo starts a romance with Leod is the player's choice. Unlike the Caliente sisters, Patricia and Cleo are not related. Although the Wan household and the Caliente household do not resemble each other on the outside, they do have several similarities on the inside. This includes their comparable kitchens, dining rooms, lounges, and bedrooms.
