Franskúnia (Fr. Franzkúnia, oF. Ia Franzkún, FdL. Franzt-Kýno, Car. Mar-Mar) is a historical region in West Caroth once belonging to the Carothinian Empire and known by the name of Mar-Mar, given to the Franskún tribe for patrolling, later united with the Bar-Àntras territories of the Bachrian tribe, which constituted the major part of the old Kingdom of Franskúnia. The region was formally renamed to Franskúnia by the Carothinians (Fransk + ún + -ia lit. Franzk Place Province .) Although never formally ceded to the Franskún by the carothinians it was their de facto lands (claimed de jure but never ratified by the carothinians). The capital of Franskúnia was Franzkún.
