Xervish Flydd was the scrutator for the province of Einunar and a member of the Council of Scrutators. He formerly served as a perquisitor and it was during this time he was severely tortured by the Council on the orders of the Numinator. Flydd was one of few scrutators who were uncorrupt and respected by Santhenar; earning himself the title of the Peoples Scrutator. After being cast out by the corrupt Council, Flydd vowed to bring them down, eventually succeeding and leading Santhenar to victory in the Lyrinx War, as the head of the New Council of Scrutators.

He formerly served as a perquisitor and it was during this time he was severely tortured by the Council on the orders of the Numinator. Flydd was one of few scrutators who were uncorrupt and respected by Santhenar; earning himself the title of the Peoples Scrutator. After being cast out by the corrupt Council, Flydd vowed to bring them down, eventually succeeding and leading Santhenar to victory in the Lyrinx War, as the head of the New Council of Scrutators. Flydd's success was short lived, as he was forced to go into hiding, due to his enemy Jal-Nish Hlar declaring himself God-Emperor of Santhenar. After hiding on Mistmurk Mountain for nine years, Flydd was eventually forced to take renewal and help Maelys Nifferlin and Cryl-Nish Hlar in their quest to bring down the God-Emperor. After escaping the God-Emperor's attack on Mistmurk Mountain, Flydd found himself plagued by visions of a woman in red; who he eventually discovered to be none other than Yalkara the Charon. Using the long forgotten Art of gates, Flydd ventured to the forbidden Isle of Noom, and came face to face with his nemesis the Numinator. Flydd both led and survived the battle of the Isle of Noom, only to fall into the hands of the Imperial Militia at Gendrigore. However, Flydd was able to survive and was instrumental in overthrowing his old enemy.
