  • The third Death Star was the third in the line of Death Stars, constructed three years after the destruction of the second Death Star during the Battle of Endor. The third Death Star could move throughout the galaxy and take it over through fear. The third Death Star remained unchallenged until 11 ABY, when a rebellion was launched against it; this created the Second Rebellion, consisting of 1,209,538 troopers and 12,000 Jedi. The Galactic Empire, however, had more than double these forces. The rebel planets consisted of the original rebel planets, such as Alderaan and Naboo. A number of battles took place between the third Death Star and the rebellion, and the station destroyed planets throughout this time. The third Death Star was destroyed in 25 ABY by X-wing pilot Vancloud Flintom.
