abstract	Asher Ross is a Marine and also the main murder victim in "Brimstone". Asher Ross was a former Staff Sergeant who was caught in a bombing while serving in Iraq. As a result, Ross lost hearing in one of his ears and as such, was given a medical discharge which prompted him to resume his life as a civilian. However, Stanton Olin who had served with Ross began feeling that everyone in the Marine unit should pay for the crimes they had committed in Iraq and rigged Ross's cell-phone with a bomb. Ross unknowingly answered it and it exploded in his face, killing him instantly while also destroying half his head in the process. Due to the fact that Ross was a Marine, Office of Special Projects got involved and began an investigate into Ross's death.
