Bludgeonbeaks are a species or subspecies of Tallstrider which are much larger than their relatives. If need be, they can kill prey the size of Azerothian lions. They exist within Duskwallow Marsh and within the Thousand Needles of the continent of Kalimdor, indicating that they are either a hardy species or that these are separate subspecies of the Bludgeonbeak group. They are known to occasionally gang up in larger numbers to attack parties of heroes. Even so, they are not quite as massive as the elusive and rare Geru Strider.
