The Bosh-Garratt swamps were a large chain of swamps and wetlands on Deshad. Located far from major cities, the swamp chain was nonetheless ringed by rural villages; the villagers fished and farmed in the fertile wetlands. In the 150s ABY, the Bosh-Garratt slavers operated from the depths of the swamp, sending raiding parties to kidnap other Zykeds from neighboring villages. The slavers were all apprehended or killed in 154 ABY by a Royal Corps of Gendarmes Emergency Response Team, assisted by the Centurions Rajj-Yo and Vos'elk'eetash.
