Q-Bah started his musical career as the founding member of the rapgroup Dutch Cream in 1996. The group consisted of rappers AlteRego, Baldylox and Q-Bah. Together they brought out a single called Geen Gelul in 1997, which was launched as a gift for the readers of Dutch magazine Webber. The following year Dutch Cream brought out the single Crowd Vibe, a song in three languages (English, Spanish, French) that did good on local radiostations in Germany and France. I Don't Like HipHop (I Love It) followed in 1998. This was a remake of 10cc's Dreadlock Holiday, that became a #1 hit in several countries through the help of record company EMS Crossover, were Dutch Cream was signed at the time.
