Princess Amantine is the aunt of King Krothen of Kothifir, and the sister of Krothen's father, King Kruin. She was married to Prince Near. While her brother Kruin was killing all his heirs, believing it would secure his immortality, Amantine was pregnant with her son Prince Ton. Kruin wanted to cut the baby out of her, and kill it even before it was born. Torisen protected her, and Kruin died. Soon after, Prince Near started wasting away. When he died, she declared war on Urakarn, and the Battle of Urakarn followed.
