- Noddy is a character created by British children's author Enid Blyton, originally published between 1949 and 1963. Television shows based on the character have run on British television since 1955 and continue to appear to this day.
- Noddy was a character from Enid Blyton's books. When the Tenth Doctor was nonplussed at the extraordinary coincidence that Agatha Christie could be in the middle of a murder mystery or the idea of Charles Dickens seeing Christmas ghosts, Donna suggested the absurdity of meeting Blyton and finding her having tea with Noddy. She asked him if Noddy actually existed and he assured her that he didn't. (TV: The Unicorn and the Wasp)
- Cletus Noddington, commonly known as "Noddy" is a Celtic deity dated from the early Bronze Age to the period of Roman expansion into Britain, though the combustion engine-god has had a large impact on modern day society; the mythos of "Noddy and Friends" ("Friends" being cult members) was recreated in children's television and the image of the little man with a bell on his drooping hat has entered popular culture as a symbol of Satan and the Devil.
- Noddy is a common enemy in the Kirby games, first appearing in Kirby's Adventure. It's better to spit these enemies out at other enemies, as it bestows the infamous Sleep ability onto Kirby when inhaled.

- Noddy is a self-employed taxi driver. Noddy loves driving his friends around Toytown in his little red and yellow taxi. The other toys can hear him coming by the distinctive "Parp, Parp" sound of his taxi's horn and the jingle of the bell on his blue hat. Often he uses his car to visit all of the places in Toytown. When his taxi business is not doing so well, or when he needs help, Noddy turns to Big Ears. Big Ears will often lend him what he needs. On occasion, Noddy will allow people to make his head nod, in exchange for small items, like his morning milk.
- Noddy is a character that only appears in the "Back to Earth" mini-series. During the crews group hallucination, they encounter Noddy working as a shop assistant in a science fiction store called "They Walk Among Us". He could very much be called a "science fiction geek", as shown by him quickly believing the crew's story of being stuck in an alternate dimension and his belief in various forms of science fictional transportation technology such as Timeslides, matter paddles, and the Holly Hop Drive. He is practically normal in comparison to his friend and the then president of the Red Dwarf fan club (the real life organizers of the Dimension Jump conventions) Reg Warf, who is described by Noddy as "a bit weird". Various props up for sale in his shop eventually allow Lister, Rimmer, Cat, an
