Later, after Darth Tarna's reign as Emperor was finished, Darth Matas established the rule once more to promote the unison of the Sith after the countless betrayals that had happened while Tarna was Emperor. Darth Validus loathed this rule, preferring the Rule of Two which was the most successful way of defeating the Jedi and taking over the empire. Validus worships older Lord Bane and Lord Sion thus he encouraged betrayal amongst the Sith. This rule went against everything Validus stood for.
