The dark century was a century in the King's Quest ZZT Timeline in which Orcs invaded the Island of Llewdor and attacked the centaurs. Only a lone hero, Sir Turner Warren the great, saved them. The centaurs later built a statue honoring the hero in their new village in the hidden valley in southern Llewdor. Apparently the Orcs also attacked Daventry but were held back by Daventry's Army according to a decorative picture inside the shop of the Fletcher of Dhurgei.
