Like many wikis, the general attitude towards how it is used are reasonably relaxed, unlike more rigid projects like Wikipedia. However, this wiki is still a serious project. There are essentially no restrictions on what can be put on the wiki (within reason, of course) provided it is put in the right place. Nothing that is not part of the wiki's scope should enter mainspace. There are basically three places where you may include what might be termed "off-topic content": 1. * Userspace 2. * Forumspace 3. * Blogspace This is a wiki and not a social networking site

  • Like many wikis, the general attitude towards how it is used are reasonably relaxed, unlike more rigid projects like Wikipedia. * Blogspace Userspace is by far the preferred option. There is not currently a forum for off-topic discussion, though this may wel change. Blogs are a point of conflict on many wikis, and while they remain available on this wiki, this may also change if they are abused. There is absolutely no restriction on what may be put in a blog, but it should nonetheless be sensible and reasonable. We do not want a massive surge in inane one-line blogs which serve no useful or interesting purpose whatsoever, and if we get that, the blogs may end up being disabled. Blogspace is for blogging, by definition, so anything which is more substantial may well be better placed in Userspace or Forumspace. Indeed, this is why many wikis dismiss blogs as pointless, but this wiki is not following that principle for the time being. Most importantly of all: This is a wiki and not a social networking site This is not Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, or any other such site. If you want to engage exclusively in social networking activities, you should do so there and not here. You should not join a wiki unless you intend to make actual contributions to the content. This point cannot be emphasised enough.
