These barrels burst into flame on impact, spraying oil over any assailants. When siege weapons are expected to attack the fortress, the Dwarves employ the greatest of all war machines in Middle-earth: the Mighty Catapult. This Catapult is slow firing and immobile, but has extraordinary range and can inflict catastrophic damage on armies who refuse to come within the range of the axe-throwers.
