The Holy Adventures of Jesus Christ is a American religious educational animated series produced by Chicago Cartoons and distributed by Apple Entertainment . It starred a fictional version of Jesus Christ, voiced by Herbert Morrison and a group of kids of various religions (all voiced by kids and teenagers who varied by episode) who Jesus Christ taught about religion in every episode. The only antagonist, the Devil, voiced by a uncredited Sam Singer (yes, THAT Sam Singer, who was also an animator on this show), only appeared when a fight was needed by the plot's demands.

The studio that produced it, Chicago Cartoons, was run on a budget of $75,000, which was a way-low "shoestring budget". This resulted in (in)famous cost-cutting techniques: "Oddimation", rotoscoping, and considerable reliance on re-used footage. The only music is stock music tracks and the theme song is just a recording of a choir at a church singing. Reruns air on The Greeny Channel and The Greeny Channel Retro.
