Durante un tiempo, los enlaces directos a las herramientas todavía parecían trabajar, y todavía se podía acceder y leer a través de un vínculo directo en el foro. Hasta el 9 de mayo del 2011, éste ya no fue el caso. Gran parte del contenido que estaba disponible todavía pueden estar disponibles en SimEchoes. As of August 20, 2010, the site was no longer available. For a while, direct links to tools still appeared to work, and the forum (BBS) could still be accessed and read via a direct link. As of May 9, 2011, this is no longer the case. Much of the content which was available may still be available at The Sims 1 Depot. At present, <a href="http://thesims.ea.com">http://thesims.ea.com</a> goes to a "front page" for the official site of The Sims Series.
