- Gerry Cohen is a television director and musician who started in the Los Angeles entertainment industry as a script reader for Aaron Spelling. On everything from American Bandstand to ABC’s live-late-night comedy sketch series Fridays to the annual American Music Awards, he was able to work with many of the major rock music acts of the era including The Clash, Madonna, King Crimson, The Cars, Joan Jett and the Pretenders, Simply Red, Pat Benatar, Devo, Graham Parker, Kiss, Culture Club, Aretha Franklin, B.B. He began his career as a stage manager and associate director on the television series Fridays, The Golden Girls, Who's the Boss? and Married... with Children, making his directorial debut on the latter series. He would eventually direct 156 episodes of Married... with Children out of the show's 262 episodes. His other television credits include The Drew Carey Show, Unhappily Ever After, The Norm Show, George Lopez, Still Standing, Greddie, Anger Management and a number other series.
