| - William Duffy is an Anchor party politician of J Andres. Prior to his political career, Duffy coached collegiate basketball, before moving on to manage professional sports teams. After years of managing the front office, he started a sports consulting business, outsourcing sports management techniques to a variety of J Andres sports franchises. During the Nationalist wave of 2062, Nationalists swept numerous gubernatorial races; however, Duffy was the lone candidate to defeat an incumbent Nationalist, Arun Koury as the Governor of Mercton. That position was abolished in 2069, but he was elected Governor of Boston in 2076 after John Walker was appointed Minister of Domestic Affairs. Duffy perished in the nuclear attack on Boston at the conclusion of the Grand Mexican War.
