In 1995, at the conclusion of production on Muppet Treasure Island, cast and crew members received a production gift of a Muppet Treasure Island pewter tankard, designed by Michael K. Frith. The tankard stands approximately 5" high and features many of the Muppet Treasure Island characters, including Kermit the Frog as Captain Abraham Smollett on the face of the tankard, Statler and Waldorf on the handle, and Rizzo the Rat 'squashed' underneath. Inscribed on the tankard is a message from Brian Henson and Martin Baker:
