He was seen only in a bonus comic in No Cure for the Paladin Blues where he saved Xykon and Redcloak from death at the hands of the silver dragon that would later become Xykon's zombie mount. He received an ironic "final reward" from Xykon, which is alluded to in Losers Weepers, where several hobgoblins discuss the impending outcome of retrieving the phylactery and delivering it to Jirix successfully, only to be ambushed immediately.
