Lelin-Der was a male Stereb who was native to Serreco, a world heavily devastated by the Mandalorians during the Mandalorian Wars. He was elected Senator of Stereb shortly before the Jedi Civil War erupted, and was key to getting the Jedi Order to commit its full weight against Darth Revan's Sith Empire. As such, Lelin-Der was a highly important member of the Senate. In the early years of the Jedi Civil War, Lelin-Der, along with Cressa, the Senator from Commenor, and Mimas Yoon, the senator from Corellia, prepared to run for the highly prestigious post of Supreme Chancellor. However; shortly before the elections were to take place, Lelin-Der and Mimas Yoon were assassinated by HK-47, Revan's personal assassin droid, leaving Cressa to secure the chancellorship.
