The Tong Beak Nebula is a nebula located near the Cardassian Union. In the early 2360s, the Tong Beak Nebula was on the edge of unclaimed space, although the Cardassians and the Talarians had been known to operate near it at the time. (ST novella: The Slow Knife) In 2373, General Martok ordered Leskit to plot the IKS Rotarran's course around the Tong Beak Nebula, as there were reports of Dominion ships being active there. The detour was noted to add a day to their journey to the last known coordinates of the IKS B'Moth from Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "Soldiers of the Empire")

- The Tong Beak Nebula was an interstellar gas cloud located near the border of the Cardassian Union. In 2373, there were reports of Jem'Hadar activity inside the nebula. As a result, General Martok ordered the IKS Rotarran to go around the nebula on its mission to find the IKS B'Moth, adding a day to their journey. Martok cited orders from the Klingon High Council not to seek combat, although his decision was unpopular with the Rotarran crew. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 46) and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), the Tong Beak Nebula was located in the Alpha Quadrant.
- The Tong Beak Nebula is an interstellar gas cloud located on the Klingon-Cardassian border. In 2368, the USS Chevalier tested a plasma dissipater in the nebula. The plasma dissipater, along with the runabout it was integrated with, were stolen by a group known as the "Brigade." (Dark Territory: "The Crucible") There were reports of Jem'Hadar activity in the nebula in 2373. Since the Klingon High Council issued orders to avoid unnecessary combat, General Martok ordered his vessel, the IKS Rotarran, to go around the nebula while searching for the IKS B'Moth. His crew was displeased with the decision. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire") Also in 2374, the USS Lambda Paz investigated intelligence suggesting a Jem'Hadar breeding facility was on a planetoid in the nebula. Initial investigation suggested this intelligence was authentic. Later investigations revealed that no breeding facility on the planetoid, as the Dominion set a plan in motion to lure Starfleet into an ambush in Sector 21607 after suffering heavy losses at Torros III. The resulting battle dealt the Federation Alliance a crippling blow. (Star Trek: Lambda Paz,"Revenge a Dish Best Served Cold")
