| - The USS Lexington (NCC-61832) was a Nebula-class Federation starship in service in the late 24th century. The Lexington was launched in the late 2350s under the command of Captain James Turner. In 2358, the Lexington took aboard Ensign Eric Styles for medical treatment after he was held prisoner on PojjanPiraKot for four years following the evacuation of the Federation Embassy in 2354. A special award ceremony was held aboard the Lexington and Styles was awarded the Federation Medal of Valor. (Crossover novel: Double_Helix, #3: Red Sector.) By 2367, Captain Gilaad Ben Zoma was commanding the Lexington, when she rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise-D so that Ben Zoma and security chief, "Pug" Joseph, could attend the installation of their old friend and USS Stargazer crewmate, Morgen, as the new ruler of Daa'V. {Star Trek: The Next Generation novel:Reunion) Lexington met up with the USS Enterprise, during 2370, in order to transport medical supplies to the Tarranko Colony. (TNG: "Thine Own Self") In 2371, Lexington docked at Deep Space 9 following an exploration of uncharted space. (DS9: "Explorers") In 2371, Captain Eberling assumed command of the Lexington and commanded her until 2374, when he was killed in action at the start of the Dominion War. Eberling was replaced by Captain Heather Anderson. (Star Trek: Corps of Engineers eBook: "Oaths") During the second Borg invasion (also known as the Battle of Sector 001) in 2373, Lexington, along with several Starfleet vessels, defended the sector against the cube. They sustained ninety-six casualties; twenty-two wounded. (Star Trek: First Contact) In 2376, the Lexington participated in the Battle of Sol against the Vendoth. (Star Trek: Unity (crossover): "United We Stand - Together") In 2377-78, Commodore Mark E. Hanford was Task Force 75's commanding officer aboard the flagship USS Lexington (NCC-61832). (TNG novel: Reunion) Following a mining disaster on Naia VII, the Lexington was sent with additional engineering personnel and equipment to aid the mining operation there. (TNG episode: "Thine Own Self") In Borath's simulation, Jadzia Dax was to be assigned to the Lexington as its new science officer after the Federation was to give Deep Space 9 to the Dominion. (DS9 episode: "The Search") After exploring uncharted space for several years, the Lexington put in at Deep Space 9 for repairs in 2371. (DS9 episode: "Explorers") As of 2374, the Lexington was commanded by Captain Eberling. Early that year, he was killed in action at the Battle of Tyra. Eberling was replaced by his first officer, Heather Anderson. (SCE eBooks: Oaths, War Stories, Book 1) In 2375, the Lexington was in range of Earth but was escorting trade vessels to Starbase Midway when the Breen attacked San Francisco. (TNG short story: "Eleven Hours Out") The Lexington, along with the USS Enterprise-E, was called by the USS da Vinci in 2376 to assist them following the crash of an alien ship on Intar. (SCE eBook: Hard Crash) The Lexington was one of the ships to survive the Borg Invasion of 2381, though the crew suffered the loss of their entire engineering staff, with the exception of Crewperson Alhan Jago. Following the invasion, the Lexington reported to Starbase 22, where the station's counselor, Brian Ellis, counseled Jago and the Lexington medical staff. (ST novel: A Singular Destiny) In Red Sector it was stated that the Lexington was a Galaxy-class starship. In Reunion it was identified as a Constitution-class vessel. In Armada II it was succeeded by a Steamrunner-class vessel.
