The Tal'cara was a Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser owned and operated by the Bothan Spynet. Shortly before the Battle of Endor, Tal'cara was used as a transport for a team of Bothan delegates during a meeting between the Spynet and the Rebel Alliance, escorted by Y-wings of the Calico squadron. The meeting took place in deep space, presumably for both security and to have a sense of neutral ground; its purpose was to discuss the terms of the Spynet's infiltration of the second Death Star.

  • The Tal'cara was a Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser owned and operated by the Bothan Spynet. The Alliance cruiser Liberty was to represent the Rebellion in the negotiations, she arrived in the area first, escorted by a pair of A-wings flown by reputed pilots Olin Garn and Ace Azzameen. Within minutes, Tal'cara arrived and took up position some distance from Liberty. The Lambda-class T-4a shuttle Jade then launched from Tal'cara, carrying the delegates and their leader, Borsk Fey'lya to the Liberty. However, before the shuttle could arrive at Liberty's hangar bay, the meeting came under attack from a mercenary group. Skipray Blastboats attacked Tal'cara and her escorting Y-wings, while Authority IRDs went after Jade. Quick action from the Alliance A-Wing pilots, however, prevented the IRDs from destroying the shuttle. Meanwhile, Tal'cara and its attendant Y-wings fended off the Skiprays and a Marauder-class corvette, Intruder. The mercenaries were eventually defeated, with Alliance shuttle Compassion picking up a survivor from escape pod EE-763 launched by the Corvette, who claimed he was hired by the Sullustans. Tal'cara then retrieved her delegates after the meeting's conclusion, and entered hyperspace.
