Dogfaces, or dognoses, are Petting Zoo People dogs that populate the Disney Ducks Comic Universe, Mickey Mouse Comic Universe, DuckTales, Goof Troop, A Goofy Movie, and An Extremely Goofy Movie and some of the Classic Disney Shorts. One even shows up in the Quack Pack episode, "All Hands On Duck." Goofy and his son, Max are supposed to be Dogfaces too. Similar character designs have been used by other cartoon studios as well, though Disney is largely the Trope Codifier. Even though they are most prominent in the Disney universe, Dogfaces/dognoses are not exclusive to Disney.

Goofy has a flesh colored muzzle and Max has a flesh colored face. * In Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers, the Beagle Boys have grey fur all over. * They usually have muzzles like dogs. * They almost always have feet shaped at least somewhat like human feet. * They do not have tails. * They often have human-like head hair, and sometimes have human-like facial hair and body hair. * They usually have black or brown noses. * But Goofy Jr., Max's prototype, has a pink nose. * They usually have ears that flop ("rose ears" like those of a greyhound or bulldog) or those that droop ("pendant ears" like those of a bloodhound) * But Pistol has erect ears like a Chihuahua, Roxanne has ears that look like human ears, and Goofy Jr. and Peg are drawn without any pinnae (ear flaps) whatsoever. * Peg's ears are usually hidden on by her hairdo but when actually seen they are human like. * They usually range in portrayal from Funny Animals to Petting Zoo People and anywhere in between. * Though Roxanne and, believe it or not, The A Goofy Movie version of Big Foot are Borderline Little Bit Beastly. Even though they are most prominent in the Disney universe, Dogfaces/dognoses are not exclusive to Disney.
