- This weapon is the standard weapon used by rejects and settlers. It uses alien technology, it shoots "alien blades", very effective against enemies especially weak enemies, like human soldiers or outcast. It is also a very accurate weapon, perhaps one of the most accurate weapons in the game. It has also a magazine, similar to human weapons.

- The HVY Cutter is a tunnel boring machine that appears exclusively in Grand Theft Auto V.
- Cutter was the term for people who worked as part of a mining team and used phasers to split asteroids so excavators could access the valuable resources inside. A Starfleet ensign who shot himself in the foot with a phaser during the Battle of Ajilon Prime in 2373 told Jake Sisko that after his court martial, he could become a cutter.
