  • Krakulv is a rocky moon on the edge of Terran Dominion space. The rocks on the surface are very loose and easy to dig through. An outpost named Krakulv Base was set up there shortly after the First Contact War in order to monitor zerg incursions and serve as an early warning for any zerg attack. Nuclear failsafes were set up in the core of the planet. In 2504, Krakulv was attacked by the Zerg Swarm. The base held out for the necessary six hours, in spite of the zerg deploying their new roaches to destroy the base. The base was evacuated, the nuclear failsafes triggered, destroying the moon and all zerg on it.
