- Worcester Polytechnic Institute currently has 13 fraternities and 6 sororities (or women's fraternities) that are active on campus. The 13 fraternities are governed by the Interfraternity Council (IFC), where as the sororities are governed by the Panhellenic Council. Last year over 30% of the undergraduate population was part of a Greek organization. Members of Greek Life can be found in almost every student organization on campus, including but not limited to: Student Government Association, Social Committee, sports teams, and Community & Residental advisors. The 13 Fraternities are:
- GW's Greek system continues to grow each year. It currently represents 22% of student life. There are fourteen recognized men's social fraternity chapters on campus, including Beta Theta Pi, Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Psi, Phi Sigma Kappa, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Theta Delta Chi, and Zeta Beta Tau.
