Karyrth was born in Loch Modan, in the hunter's lodge. He was part Wildhammer but mostly Bronzebeard in his blood. He had a natural talent for hunting and animals, this being connected to his Wildhammer heritage. He was soon sent to Dun Morogh to ally with the Ironforge Dwarves. He quickly gained trust with the Dwarves there, fighting back wild animals. Soon he was offered by Grif Wildeart, a chance to join the rangers protecting Dun Morogh. He accepted and learned the ways of taming animals, journeying to Loch Modan to train a mountain boar. While in Ironforge on ranger business he joined the Stonefoot Clan, orginally to merely assist but soon became an involved member. He came along on the Dark Iron hunt in Loch Modan, part of an investigation against Dark Iron attacks where he revealed
