Synopsis
| - Investigating cases of peoples minds switching with animals, Green Lantern also finds himself in the same predicament when his mind is switched with that of an eagle. Trapped in an eagle's body, Green Lantern manages to protect his body and stop the crooks who have stolen the device. Using it to be changed back to normal, Green Lantern rounds up the crooks and turn them over to the police.
- Testing out a new plane for the Ferris Aircraft Company, Hal Jordan spots a new costumed criminal, the Aerialist. As Hal parachutes down to the ground, the Aerialist tells Hal that he's getting revenge for for Elke Hensen who's death he blames on the Ferris family. Telling Carol, she relates a story about a circus that was put on for the Ferris Aircraft Company in which trapeze artists Elke Hensen was killed by a freak bolt of lightning and that her lover Otto Fisher vowed revenge someday.
Searching for the Aerialist as Green Lantern, Hal is taken off guard when the Aerialist uses a device to change Green Lantern's mask into gold. With Green Lantern his prisoner, he demands that Green Lantern use his power ring to destroy the Ferris Aircraft Companies property. However, Hal gets the gold mask off with static electricity and beats the Aerialist in hand to hand combat in spite of the Aerialists acrobatic skill.
Turning Otto over to the police, Hal suggests that the Aerialist get's mental help, not prison time. Meeting with Carol, Green Lantern tells her that he couldn't have beat the Aerialist if it weren't for help from Hal Jordan, which earns Hal a kiss in his civilian guise.
