Paul-Henri DuBerger (born October 8, 1939 in Matane, Quebec) in is a contemporary Canadian painter whose work is influenced by the great impressionists. DuBerger, born in Matane, Quebec and residing in Quebec City. Parallel to his academic career at Université Laval he developed a vital interest in painting. Starting with just a few sketches, DuBerger quickly improved his techniques, focussing on impressionist manner painting. While attending several workshops he got the opportunity to meet Emile A. Gruppé, an American master of the School of Impressionism of Gloucester.
