Ken is in deep trouble. He left a wet towel on top of Deirdre's side of the duvet for some twenty minutes several hours before and she can still feel the damp coming through. After a further bicker about putting the bins out, Ken sarcastically lists the pastimes that the two share, including discussing wet towels for hours on end. Deirdre has a solution to the problem: he left the towel on her side of the bed because they've not yet changed their clothes over after they swapped sides of the bed.
