| - Shippuga/Shippuuga (疾風牙, lit. Hurricane Fang) is one of Zero's command normals in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Zero charges with his saber in an inward slash. It covers quite a distance and can also be used within combos. The move originates as an Command Art from Mega Man X4, being an ability done during a dash and is mainly used for combos. It is received from the boss Slash Beast, and has its derivatives W-Shredder/Shippuu (Hurricane) in X5 and the Sentsuizan in X6. Originally in both X4 and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, the color of Shippuuga was pink. Like in its home appearance it does a total of three hits. In MVC3 however, the slash is instead colored reddish-orange. Originally in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, this move had quite a bit of reach, making it a very good attack for gap closures and for Zero's many hit-confirm punishers, especially when combined with its stagger. Its range however was eventually brought down to a more reasonable level in MVC3 as well as removing its stagger and turning it into normal hitstun, all while making it cancelable into a launcher. Unlike the normal version of this move, if used as an assist, Zero does a running start and only inflicts one hit with this attack.
